Damac Towers by Paramount Hotels & Resorts, nominated by KEO International Consultants, has been named Residential Project of the Year.
The Hollywood-inspired four-tower development picked up the gong at the Construction Week Awards 2018, which took place at JW Marriott Marquis hotel in Dubai's Business Bay on 4 December.
Innovation and energy-saving initiatives were at the heart of its win, but the project's engineering team was also praised by judges for integrating these features without compromising on the luxury aesthetic.
It is the second time in 12 months that the developer has performed strongly at the Construction Week Awards, with Damac Properties also collecting Highly Commended Residential Project honours in 2017.
Bluewaters by ASGC, which opened this month, was named Highly Commended Residential Project of the Year at the 2018 awards.
Other nominees on the shortlist for 2018 Residential Project of the Year included: W Dubai, nominated by Depa Group; the Mixed-Use Development for Pasi, nominated by Aecom; Sobha Hartland; The Residences at Marina Gate I & I built by ALEC; Marasi Water Homes, nominated by U+A; and Wasl 51 by VX Studio.
Residential Project of the Year is one of the most hotly contested project categories at the Construction Week Awards 2018.
Eight of the Middle East’s top construction experts made up the independent panel of judges, which selected winners in 13 categories.
