A 220-room hotel in Dubai Marina built by Damac Properties will have its interiors designed by Roberto Cavalli after the developer signed a hospitality partnership agreement with the Italian fashion house.
Hussain Sajwani, chairman and founder of Damac Properties, signed the international hospitality agreement with Roberto Cavalli Group.
Damac's deal will support the construction of hospitality projects named 'Aykon Hotels with interior design by Roberto Cavalli'.
Ground will be broken for the first of Damac's Cavalli-designed hotels in 2019, with the luxury hotel in Dubai Marina scheduled for completion in 2023.
Highlights of the Robert Cavalli Hotel will include infinity pools with views overlooking the man-made Palm Jumeirah island.
Sajwani said Damac was pleased to have strengthened its partnership with Roberto Cavalli, having first worked with the fashion house in 2017.
Gian Giacomo Ferraris, chief executive officer of Roberto Cavalli Group, added: "We look forward to working on the first Roberto Cavalli-branded hotel, alongside the real estate pioneer behind Damac Properties."
Sajwani, is listed on Construction Week's Top 50 GCC Developers 2018 list.
