Rajesh Kumar Krishna, chairman and chief executive officer of Beaver Gulf Group, is among the high flyers in the 2018 Construction Week Power 100.
Krishna, who has held his role for the last decade, led his company to revenues worth $175m (AED642.8m) between 1 February, 2017 and 31 January, 2018.
By the end of the current financial year, this number could hit $260m (AED955m), according to Krishna's forecasts.
Among the developments completed by the contractor between June 2017 and May 2018 is 314 Safi and 730 Hayat townhouses of Dubai's Town Square master development, by Nshama.
The contractor has also completed a 1B+G+7 residential building for Al Ghurair Real Estate in Dubai's Mankhool neighbourhood, and the 2B+G+M+13 Citymax hotel in Ras Al Khaimah.
In the next 12 months, Beaver Gulf Group will continue its work with Nshama and Al Ghurair, in addition to building 130 townhouses within Zafran, at Dubai's Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Krishna said the UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia will be among the most important markets for his business in the year to come.
A part of the UAE's thriving contractor community, Krishna has raised Beaver Gulf's profile since 2015, when he was covered by Construction Week for the then-emerging company's big wins in Dubai.
In addition to his role at Beaver Gulf, Krishna, one of the UAE construction sector's notable Indian-origin chiefs, is an avid promoter of the contracting sector in Dubai, and has previously spoken at the Construction Week Leaders in Construction: UAE conference, and been on the jury of the Construction Week Awards.
