A delegation from the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) on Wednesday attended the start of the construction of the Hadramaut Events, Celebrations and Conferences Council Building in Yemen’s Mukalla District.

The delegation was led by Ahmed Al Niyadi, head of the ERC Team in Hadramaut, accompanied by several ERC engineers in Hadramaut and from the Bonyan Office.

The contract to construct the building was signed earlier this week by the ERC and the Bonyan Contractors Office in Mukalla, in the presence of Major General Faraj Salmeen Al Bahsani, Governor of Hadramaut.

During the inspection visit, engineers explained the construction stages and infrastructure of the building, which are in line with the project’s design and plan.

The building’s construction is part of the ERC’s infrastructure projects in Yemen and the directives of the wise leadership, led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to restore normal living conditions, reconstruct vital establishments and facilities and provide the best services, through implementation development projects in Yemen’s liberated governorates.
