The Urban Planning and Municipalities Department at Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) has completed and upgraded the A69 intersection in the UAE capital.

The Abu Dhabi City Municipality commenced works of the intersection project in 2017 at an estimated value of $817,000 (AED3m).

The intersection is located in Shakhboot bin Sultan Street, opposite Al Bahr Towers and the Higher Colleges of Technology.

This project reflects the Municipality's drive to modernise road networks and raise its efficiency to meet the needs of sustainable development while measuring up to the vision of Abu Dhabi to develop and improve infrastructure systems.

In a statement, ADM said that the project and similar endeavors contribute to the continuous development of the city's infrastructure.

"It reflects the Municipality’s commitment to providing a modern road network and improving the quality of services provided in line with the international traffic safety standards."
