HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), received a delegation from the Swiss company, ABB, to strengthen their partnership and review projects and initiatives. 

The delegation was headed by Dr Chunyuan Gu, MD of ABB in China and president in Asia, Middle East and Africa region; Mostafa AlGuezeri, MD of ABB, UAE and Middle East; Mohamed Al Marzooqi, EVP of strategic partners in UAE; and Noaman Amjad, group Sr VP & global head of marketing and sales at ABB; in the presence of Hussain Lootah, EVP of transmission power at DEWA.

Al Tayer stressed the importance of cooperation with ABB, pointing out that the meeting is an enhancement of strategic cooperation between the two parties, especially in the field of production and generation of electricity through solar energy, energy production solutions, and all related technologies.

The visit also aimed to exchange experiences in R&D, and strengthen partnership to serve future projects.

The delegation briefed Al Tayer on ABB’s work in the UAE, and expressed their interest in participating in DEWA’s projects.

They highlighted the importance of exchanging knowledge and experiences.
