Yas Island developer Miral will roll out the first phase of its digital transformation project in 2018 in a strategy to connect the Island’s major destinations through the development of digital services.
The infrastructure for Yas Connect was developed earlier this year to enable the launch of the platform’s digital assets across Miral’s attractions on Yas Island.
The strategy untimely aims to deliver a “wall-less resort vision” across the developer’s hotels, malls, and theme parks to create a fully connected experience for customers visiting the island.
The first phase will transform online and mobile visitor engagement with the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi theme park, Yas Waterworld, and the new theme parks and attractions planned for next year.

Miral also announced a strategic partnerships with SapientRazorfish, part of Publicis.Sapient and Cognizant, providing development teams to be deployed on-site at Yas Island.

In October, Cisco announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Miral to explore opportunities to enhance Yas Connect and other digital offerings on Yas Island.
Yas Connect will be fully integrated with upcoming projects coming online in 2018 including Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, CLYMB and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, which is set to open by 2022.
