Mazroui Construction Technology (Mazcot) has announced that it has successfully implemented ePROMIS enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

The UAE-headquartered contractor, which forms part of Al Mazroui Group, said that the software would help it to capitalise on growth opportunities in a competitive marketplace.

Mazcot has used ePROMIS’s ERP system to replace several of its standalone software programmes and legacy ERP tools.

The software features cost-control functionality that enables users to maintain budgetary control, conduct effective planning, and prepare for risks.

Nadim Hani Arnous, managing partner of Mazcot, commented: “In a highly competitive marketplace, organisations should maintain well-established trade contractor relationships, competitive knowhow, on-time delivery, integrity, and financial strength for survival.

“We have successfully delivered significant construction projects across the [UAE] and, with ePROMIS ERP, we look for process excellence and agility to our operations along with real-time data analytics across the company.”

Mazcot conducted one of the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region’s fastest-ever ERP implementations, according to ePROMIS.

Lijo Mathew Jacob, MEA ERP project manager for the US-headquartered technology provider, said: “The newly implemented ePROMIS Construction ERP is a web-based enterprise management system loaded with features such as a document management system, an electronic approval system, multi-currency management, multi-company management, business intelligence, and analysis reports.

“By eliminating repetitive manual activities, ePROMIS ERP will reduce time, effort, and resources spent on daily operational functionalities of each department,” Jacob added.
