Bahri & Mazroei Trading Company (BMTC) has announced that it has signed a contract to supply 45,000 LED luminaries to a hospital project in Al Ain.
The subsidiary of the UAE-based Bahri & Mazroei Group revealed in a statement that the contract, its largest LED project to date, covers the supply of indoor, outdoor, and landscape lighting.
The project will help achieve significant savings in energy consumption by as much as 50%, with zero maintenance for five years and heat reduction leading to savings in air conditioning bills by 10%.
BMTC said it would announce more details about the project at Light Middle East 2017, a three-day exhibition that opened on 17 October in Dubai.
BMTC’s product showcase at the event is in line with the theme of the event, which focusses on lighting solutions for smart cities, and includes street, tunnel, and indoor commercial lighting, as well as aesthetic products such as façade and fountain lighting.
For the exhibition, the company has brought in a range of systems by international companies such as Schréder, Trilux, Meyer, and Oase.
