Raimondi Cranes, an Italian crane company owned by the UAE-based KBW Investments, has announced the appointment of Wael Hasan as its Dubai-based commercial manager for the region.

Hasan will now manage the crane manufacture’s Middle East sales and service teams to increase the market share of Raimondi Cranes within the GCC and the larger MENA region, in part by looking for opportunities to increase the on-the-ground visibility of its cranes.

“One of my goals for the year ahead is to develop new relationships as well as continuing to work with our Middle East clients as valued partners,” he remarked.

“My client-servicing team and I have a very active 12 months ahead, beginning with Raimondi’s participation at the first-ever Big5 Heavy exhibition in March 2018.”

The appointment of Hasan, who brings on board considerable experience in the GCC’s heavy lifting machinery sector, is effective immediately.

“I am extremely excited to be joining a company that represents quality and heritage,” he continued, in reference to the long history of Raimondi, which was established in 1863, in the industry.

He added: “Choosing to invest in a Raimondi product means that you have the full-circle customer service and technical support functions available to you as our valued partner – we specialise in building relationships that span decades rather than seeing sales as a one-off transaction.”

In his role as Middle East Commercial Manager, Hasan will be reporting to Eng. Mauro Masetti, the commercial director of Raimondi Cranes.

Hasan’s appointment is the latest development in Raimondi’s tier one human capital recruitment drive, planned to support the company’s larger overall commercial impact tactics.
