Cisco and Abu Dhabi-based developer Miral announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to help further enhance Yas Island’s digital offering.

The agreement aims to upgrade specific areas across Yas Island through the use of intelligent technology and best practice within the IoT space.

The two companies will cooperate on ways to increase customer loyalty by optimizing digital content to suit customer needs on the island.

Under the MoU, Miral and Cisco will work together to explore digital solutions to upgrade visitor experiences across Miral-managed destinations and support the development of new digital services, according to a press statement.

“Our partnership with Cisco will allow us to explore and identify tangible outcomes through a digitization journey that will enhance the global attractiveness of our destinations and theme parks, enabling us to create a seamless customer experience that drives loyalty and return visits,” Al Zaabi added.
