Stromek Emirates Foundations, a subsidiary of UAE-based construction conglomerate, Al Arif Group, has successfully implemented ePROMIS’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
Officials from Stromek and US-based technology provider, ePROMIS, mutually agreed on the live running of the new ERP system during a project stakeholder meeting in Dubai.
The ePROMIS ERP will enable Stromek to improve visibility across its UAE project portfolio, according to the firm’s finance manager, Ayman Hilal.
“Our project sites are spread out at various locations across the UAE,” he explained. “We wanted greater visibility of our projects, manpower, and equipment; this was one of the reasons for choosing ePROMIS ERP, which is an integrated platform.”
Liju Mathew, regional marketing manager at ePROMIS Middle East, said that the system would allow Stromek to establish effective budget control practices, which will in turn facilitate the analysis of project profitability and enhanced business planning.
The newly implemented ePROMIS ERP system will automate Stromek’s key business functions, including human resources (HR), finance, projects, procurement, assets, and maintenance, according to its manufacturer.
Stromek conducts piling, shoring, ground anchor activities, and earth support services across the UAE.
ePROMIS recently celebrated its 25th year of operations in the Middle East, and plans to focus on services related to the 2018 implementation of value-added tax (VAT) during the coming months.
