A community centre worth $3.7m (BHD1.4m) will be developed in Bahrain's Northern Governorate, it has been revealed.
The 25,227m2 development in Budaiya will have a daily capacity of 550 visitors.
Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) will support the project, which will be implemented by the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs, and Urban Planning, and managed by the country's Labour and Social Development Ministry.
Upon completion, the Budaiya facility will be the third government community centre in the Northern Governorate, following one each in Jidhafs and Hamad Town.
The project is being developed following directives issued by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa, BNA reported.
