Dubai will host a conference on sustainability and green technologies this October.
The underlying theme will be key challenges facing the environment at the 19th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) to be organised in Dubai on October 23-25, 2017.
The event, organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), for the fourth year running, will shed light on the headwinds facing the water, energy and environment sectors in the region, with the participants to seek to come up with innovative eco-friendly solutions that support economic growth while preserving natural resources and protecting the environment.
DEWA MD and CEO Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer said WETEX aims to, "promote green solutions in the water, energy, and environment sectors at local, regional, and international levels by providing service providers, decision makers and our partners in the UAE and the region with a platform that shows the latest state-of-the-art technologies reached in these fields which are fundamental to national economy."
The event will feature the latest products and technologies related to energy and water efficiency, as well as residential and commercial green-building solutions.
WETEX will be attended by international companies, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers from around the world to showcase the latest technologies and green solutions.
