Abu Dhabi Airports has announced signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Abu Dhabi General Services Company, Musanada.

According to UAE state news agency, WAM, the MoU was signed today by Abdul Majeed Al Khoori, acting chief executive officer of Abu Dhabi Airports; and Sweidan Rashed Sweidan Al Dhaheri, chief executive officer of Musanada.

The MoU reportedly aims to facilitate cooperation between the two companies through workshops, which will utilise the expertise of both parties to design frameworks for partnerships and knowledge exchange.

The MoU also identifies the processes involved in securing human resources in the service, technical, and management sectors, as well as in the maintenance of airport facilities and terminals. It also touches on strengthening engagement in the areas of construction, logistics, and contract management, as per international best practice.

Commenting on the signing, Al Khoori said: "Abu Dhabi Airports is keen to have compatible partners to support its tremendous progress in its journey towards the ambitious infrastructure development plan.

“With this MoU, we have paved the way for a stronger joint front with our partners from Musanada to deliver what this emirate aspires to be, in terms of becoming a leading aviation sector empowered by world class facilities and services."

Al Dhaheri said: "There is growing interest in Abu Dhabi and the projects currently under development here, which are attracting worldwide attention. This is mainly due to the great investment environment that the emirate has to offer and the world-leading projects currently under construction across many sectors."

He added: "The MoU signing with Abu Dhabi Airports ensures the implementation of the vision of our wise leadership towards strengthening development opportunities and the delivery of pioneering infrastructure.

“Musanada is committed to carrying out all technical works for Abu Dhabi Airports as per the highest standards.”
