Oman National Engineering and Investment Company (ONEIC) has bagged four contracts worth around OMR5.5m ($14.3m).
In separate filings to the Muscat Securities Market, the company said it had been awarded the contract by Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) for construction of 3×20 mega volt amps (MVA) 33/11KV primary substation at Al Amerat-2 for $5.3m (OMR2.04).
The contract is for 10 months, Oman Tribune reported.
It also bagged another MEDC contract for construction of 3×20 MVA 33/11KV primary substation at Mawalleh South for $5.17 (OMR1.99) for a period of 10 months.
Dhofar Power Company awarded ONEIC contracts pertaining to bill printing and bill delivery for $1.8m (OMR701,025) for two years commencing May 2017.
It also awarded the company contracts pertaining to metre reading for $2m (OMR768,304) for two years from May 2017.
