Summertown Interiors has been awarded the corporate social responsibility (CSR) label by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).

Marking the fourth occasion that the fit-out contractor specialised in green interiors has won the award, Summertown Interiors was one of 20 UAE-base companies to receive the accolade. The awards were presented by HE Hisham Al Shirawi, 2nd vice-chairman, DCCI.

Based on an assessment that covered four critical factors, which comprise of workplace, marketplace, community and environment, Summertown increased its overall certification score by 17%.

Furthermore, the company exceeded the label average by over 25% compared to fellow firms in the UAE. Its efforts to attain LEED EBOM certification for carbon neutrality by 2020, were in particular noteworthy.
