The second phase of a project to develop housing around the Muscat Hills Golf Course in Oman has begun, with Towell Construction as main contractor.

More than 75 villas are being deveoped around the course, with villas ranging in size from 350m2 to 650m2, containing four and five bedrooms respectively. Each villa offers views overlooking the 18-hole course, which has the Al Hajar mountains as its backdrop.

The development is also set to contain a 250-room Intertcontinental Hotel wwith spa, bars and restaurants, a swimming pool and a fitness centre.

HH Rawy Kais al Said, who is overseeing the Muscat Hills Golf Course project, said: “With the commencement of construction of phase two, we are fulfilling the promise made by the family of delivering the last leg of residential development at Muscat Hills. This one-of-a-kind ITC project redefines luxury living and its offerings are unique in many ways.”

Ivor Braganza, director of Muscat Hills Residences, added: “Customers are seeing value in residing within a scenic golf course development, while living within minutes of the international airport and major retail outlets.

He added that the development had been sold off-plan and that there had been strong interest from potential buyers - particularly Omani nationals.
